ETNO provides operators views to be taken into consideration concerning the draft Commission Decision on reserving the number range beginning with 116 for harmonised numbers for harmonised European services, as stated in working document CoCom05-25.

ETNO provides operators views to be taken into consideration concerning the draft Commission Decision on reserving the number range beginning with 116 for harmonised numbers for harmonised European services, as stated in working document CoCom05-25. ETNO has the opinion that a number of issues still exist and need to be solved in the areas of services criteria, assignment principles, call termination, international access, tariffs, administration and management. Confusion between numbers and short codes should be avoided. ETNO recommends the Commission to develop this Decision taking into account the issues as presented in this document. ETNO is willing to actively participate in any further discussion on this topic.
