TEO recognized for the sixth time as the most transparent company in NASDAQ OMX Baltic exchanges
During the Baltic Market Awards, arranged by NASDAQ OMX stock exchanges in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn on Thursday, TEO, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and TV services in Lithuania, was recognized for the sixth time as the most transparent company and was awarded for the Best Investor Relations (IR) in the Baltic Countries.The most transparent company award was presented to TEO already for the fourth consecutive year. TEO was awarded for the Best Investor Relations in the Baltic Countries also in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

The most transparent company award was presented to TEO already for the fourth consecutive year. TEO was awarded for the Best Investor Relations in the Baltic Countries also in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
According to Ar?nas Šikšta, General Manager of TEO, transparency and openness in dealing with both majority and minority shareholders of the company is one of the most important elements of the company’s activities. "This recognition is extremely important for us and we are pleased that this is noted and commended by independent market experts and participants”, - A.Šikšta said.
During the awards ceremony held on Thursday, TEO was recognized for the Best Investor Relations Online and also for the Best Annual Report.
The companies were evaluated according to publicly available information, as well as – the opinion of investors and analysts, participation in investor events, social responsibility reports, investor’s calendar, comprehensive performance comments, and disclosures of actual performance results.
With more than 12 thousand shareholders, TEO is one of the largest companies on the Official Trading List of NASDAQ OMX Vilnius stock exchange.
